i am blown away with their talent and am inspired every time one of their images graces my feed. if you don't already follow along with their work, i highly recommend heading over to each of their beautiful galleries to see just how amazing they are for yourself.

I’m trying out this houseplant thing. any tips or favorites? i went to the nursery and asked them for varieties that would be hard to k**l 😂. there are still a few full participation seats open in my composition workshop. come join us! .
editing choices are so unique to each photographer’s vision. in an effort to show how much editing shapes our creative vision i have teamed up with a group of insanely talented photographers for the #sooc_edit_loop.

Join me monday for the start of my workshop foundations of composition. a 4 week course that will undoubtedly up the wow factor in your images! here are some recent reviews...
.
. "foundations of composition has been a game-changer for me. i thought that i knew the basis of composition, but this course completely changed the way i shoot – for personal and clients."
.
. "this workshop was so much more than composition. it totally and completely changed the way i compose an image, and that’s not anything i could get from a breakout i don’t think. susan’s critiques were actually shocking to me. i couldn’t believe how in depth they were, and she has such a great delivery with how she critiques too. and she doesn’t stop until you fully get it. i had so many ah-ha moments too."
.
. "after taking susan’s workshop, i look back at my photos from just a month ago and can already see so much growth in my work. i thought i knew a lot about composition, but i realized that a) i didn’t, and b) this class is so much more than just composition. this was my first full participation workshop, because they are expensive and i have a budget, but i was not disappointed."

We tried to find a field full of flowers and instead found a field with mostly grass and weeds 😂. we had so much fun laughing over our craziness and making the best of the few flowers we found. .

I'm in one of the biggest ruts. anyone else? with older kids, our evenings are now busy with activities. we play a lot in the backyard, but the trees have grown big and blocked the light. i’m sure after years of taking pictures i was bound to hit this, but i'm am so ready for the freedom of summer!

A rough day at school means ice cream and a trip to the park. i love that she will still play at the park with her little brothers.
