A little work in progress for you all this morning. 💛 would you wear these as brooches or pendants, or maybe even statement earrings?
How adorable is this shot?! just checking in to let you know that i’m still around, despite my lack of social media presence. i’ve been working hard behind the scenes at getting all custom orders out the door and also designing a heap of new pieces that i can’t wait to share with you. all very australian and filled with natives. the way i like it! 🙌🏼

Last one, i swear! what flower would you next like to see a feature on?
this one is one of my fave australian natives, the rice flower. check out my two most recent posts for more close ups & don’t forget to enter my giveaway to win a pair of the tassel earrings! ☺️🤞🏼
i’m going to try and make it a regular thing to introduce a plant / flower and then show a few designs made with it. 👏🏼💐
I am so incredibly proud of these earrings. 🙌🏼 these beauties, as worn by @cosmicstarlis, are filled with australian native rice flower. you can visit my last post for a close up of this gorgeous plant. 🌸 what colours would you wear?

Ozothamnus diosmifolius, rice flower. an australian native that will feature prominently in my work over the next few months.
i’ve been lucky enough to pick up three colours from various nurseries (white, pink and a peachy orange.) it attracts bees, butterflies and other insects and is one of my top five favourite native blooms.
would you like to see more plant photos or do you prefer just seeing what i make with them? 💗

Another favourite of mine; verticordia nitens. this flower is native to western australia and is more commonly known as christmas morrison. wa is at the top of my bucket list for places to travel - the flower diversity there is what my dreams are made of. 🙌🏼 💭 (i’m not crazy for wanting to visit a place because of the plants, am i? 🤔🤪)
p.s i’ve added a bunch of new events & markets to my calendar. including @finders_keepers melbourne in october (yep, again! 😲) you can check out where i’m gonna be and when at the bottom of my website under the “markets & events” tab.
So very in love with this leptospermum pendant. i’ll be keeping this one for myself and if there’s enough interest, i’ll make some more to put online.
🌸🌸 leptospermum is my second favourite flower, wattle coming in at number one (no surprises there!)

What are you most excited to see in the next update? 💛 i can’t wait to share all my hard work with you all.
i’ve made a big shift in my work, especially over the space of 2018. i’ve moved to having 90% of my work filled with australian natives. and i’ve worked really hard at learning all their names, origins and in some cases; their symbolism & uses.
pictured are a pair of studs with real verticordia monadelpha flowers encased inside. i purchased these flowers from a local florist before carefully preserving them and turning them into beautiful jewellery. #hazelandherb #verticordiamonadelpha #australiannativeflowers
We’re in melbourne this weekend for @finders_keepers! ✨ little bit tired after an almost 19 hour drive in two days, but so excited to meet all my melbourne followers and eat all the vegan food. 💛 you can find us in between @winestainsbarossa and @misterupswitch and @katherinearts 😌

I’ve been so quiet lately, sorry! juggling social media, a business, market preparations & still trying to fit in time for myself and my friends/family can be really tough! shout-out to all the people out there who understand the struggle. 💛

A few months ago i lost my best friend, sprout. 🐁 @newhavenfunerals were kind enough to cremate him & i’ve finally felt ready to encase his ashes into some jewellery i can wear. these precious keepsake rings are now available for purchase online (i’ll have a gold version available next week.)
- and for those wondering about rats as pets, let me put it this way: if i had to choose one animal to keep as a companion for the rest of my life it would be a rat. they’re so incredibly affectionate, quirky and so easy to care for. they groom themselves constantly and all 8 of mine are / have been litter trained. i took sprout on countless adventures (shopping centres, brunch with friends, sleepovers, hiking in the forest) and could always trust him to come back to me when i called out his name.
