Terry's 2014 yukon 6.2l came in to blackdog speed shop for a magnuson superchargers 1.9l blower and american racing headers. after calibration with hp tuners, this suv put down 440 awhp and 445 awtq making roughly 6.5 psi of boost on our dynojet dynamometer. this customer then came back for a little more power. we installed a griptec 2.8" supercharger pulley, airaid intake, fuel injector connection 85# injectors, and a prototype aeromotive fuel systems dual 340 lph pump module and flex fuel sensor. this yukon now makes 486 awhp and 496 awtq at roughly 9.5 psi of boost on 93 octane. we then put in pump e85 and it made 525 awhp and 528 awtq. terry should definitely like this new found power! this is all accomplished with an otherwise stock 6.2l and factory mufflers.
This 2019 camaro zl1 convertible is in for a little more power and sound. we installed a set of american racing headers with high flow cats, lingenfelter performance engineering pulley kit and cold air inductions, inc. carbon fiber cold air intake. this car made 569 rwhp and 560 rwtq at 10 psi bone stock. after installation and calibration, this gen 6 camaro made 637 rwhp and 654 rwtq at 12.5 psi while retaining stock driveablility.
It’s stories like this that remind us why we love what we do... this chevy avalanche came to us after almost losing hope. it’s prior mail ordered tunes and custom tune attempts had been unsuccessful at properly calibrating it’s distinct mechanical combination for the new gm hot cam/ performance camshaft. we were not only able to improve its overall drivability with our @blackdogspeedshop custom tune (utilizing @hptuners software), but also added 69ft-lbs of torque and 55hp at the rear wheels. our customer left very satisfied and now his avalanche pulls his boat easier than it ever did. our job isn’t done until your vehicle is out of the dog house. that’s the blackdog guarantee!
This jeep srt came by @blackdogspeedshop today due to uneven ride height. we turned to eibach pro-truck performance lowering springs for the solution. instantly, we noticed over a 1” difference in the rear and .5” in the front. once the springs have time to settle over road use, up to another .5” will be subtracted from the height. after an alignment, this srt was ready to go home to our satisfied customer!
