@lorettabates: "you guys have started sending me questions that you would like me to post about. someone recently asked me how to keep the energy of the class high while at the same me conserving your energy. one word.. coaching! here’s a perfect example of that from a class i did in moscow hosted by @nataliabullzes and the entire fabulous russian zes team. for those of you who are instructors and teach know that you have to give 120% of your energy while you are teaching in order to get your participants to give you about 60%. this is impossible to maintain for an hour long class! so we coach. coaching is where you start a move, and then walk around, encouraging your participants, interacting with them! this makes them push harder: “oh, my goodness....she standing right next to me!" while at the same time allowing you to take a much needed breathe or hook yourself up to a respirator. as a bonus, it also helps you to better control the energy of your class. getting them to come up and down when you want. to learn more about how to do that, sign up for a pro skills training! you don’t need to be doing every single step with your participants, you are there as a guide to show the way. if you continue at that intensity, you will run yourself into the ground. i heard a saying from @tonywitt_lifechoreographer once: show it. dance it. watch it. show them the step. then dance the step with them. then watch them dance it (and this is where you would insert thumbs up, high-fives, etc. to let them know how fabulous they are). so don’t be a boss and “tell them” what to do for every step. be a coach! lead them, guide them, and let them feel the satisfaction of being able to do it on their own! song: te quiero mas by @direalshaggy feat. @donomar @farrukoofficial @mohombimusic @faydeemusic and @costiofficial #zumbavideos #zumba #zumbafitness #zumbainstructor #love #dance #dancer #dancing #music #health #fitness #active #workout #motivation #training #fitnessmodel #cardio #fun #gym #fit #fitspo #lifestyle #exercise #getfit #determination #friends #dancelikenooneiswatching #amazing #fitgirl @l.l.ll.lll.ll.l.l

How to build or tone your legs ? 💥squats squats squats💥 love them or hate them, you have to do squats to develop your legs. whether your goal is to build muscle or to tone up, squats incorporate your glutes, hamstrings and quadriceps. in my opinion they are the best overall leg exercise out there. ------------------------ next time you are in the gym, try this! smith machine squats (video above) 3 sets 15 reps 60sec rest between sets position your feet at shoulder width with your feet in front of the bar. keep your chest up and push through your heels. pick a medium to light weight and try have minimal rest when you are at the top of the squat (standing). ---------------------- enjoy 😁
