I read this on the weekend and monday seems the best time to post it as we head into a new week.🗓
my big take away from this is that you can set up a 10/10 program that’s super specific but if you don’t hit it with %110 percent effort every time, you’re wasting your time. 👎🏻 that’s one of the main things i love about bootcamps, the programs might not be that fancy, or complicated, but the energy that we create in classes means that everyone gets in and works their collective a*s off to get it done and sees awesome results. 💪🏻
so hit this week and hit it hard, otherwise what’s the point?

People often say they don’t have time to exercise ..sorry but that’s just an excuse. you only need 30 to 60 minutes in a day to commit to spend time for yourself. when you do you won’t regret how good you will feel after a few sessions.
body pump is a awesome class to try
it will make you strong toned and feel great!

Well that's it done....or actually i think that's me done!

chest and triceps today...big circuit...no hiit...so since its the last "build" circuit what does one do....go big! then go "ouch!" and then look silly when trying to finish on tricep push ups in the burn-out round!

thought i'd share a progress update with you today...but one of my other "trainimg partners" decided he wants in!

now just got the rest of the day to eat right, hydrate and general feel good having done my training session today! (whilst hiding the soreness from the actual training!) hey! whatever you're doing today and whenever you get to do your workouts....be positive, enjoy it and know that you can do it!

I am so pleased with how this week went 🎉 and not because of what the scales said or what my measurements were but because i set some targets and stuck to them, every single day 🙂 it is so important to set process orientated targets, not just goal orientated. setting yourself targets that are realistic yet challenging and completely in your control will bring you a more positive and healthy mindset. i set myself a goal to do 15,000 steps per day and stick to my macros, and i did, therefore i feel like i’ve won before i even tracked my scale weight or measurements. if you set yourself a target of losing x amount of kilos or centimetres, you may be really disappointed although you’ve incorporated lots of healthy behaviours in your week. you will feel like it was all for nothing and it will be very easy to forget about the bigger picture 👎🏼 •

i am making no changes for next week, i feel really motivated and happy with how it’s all going so i don’t want to add any unnecessary pressure. •

i’ve got some questions about why i don’t bring my calories lower because it will get me “better” results. well, define better? 🤷🏽‍♀️ yes, i would probably lose a bit more on the scales but does that really matter when i feel so deprived throughout the 8 weeks that i will binge as soon as it’s done? 🍕🍰🍭 will another kilo matter when i feel weak, tired and sluggish in the gym 😓? no. the goal should always be to eat as much as possible whilst progressing towards your goals. slow and steady always wins the race 🐢 •

and sorry about the c****y quality photos this week, i took them a bit earlier in the day and the sun/lighting wasn’t working with me 😒 i’ll put some more effort in next week, i promise 😙
