Fuel in its perfect form. fuel for me is always food and hydration...not pictured is the sleep, which was an important factor for me this weekend. sleep is one of the things i am aiming to improve in 2018 as it is always a struggle for me. i'm a night owl...that also happens to like getting up super early. 🤔i can confirm this combo is tricky to work around. biggest things that are helping my sleep is keeping my room clean (disorganization generally keeps me up for some reason), trying to avoid my phone prior to bed, starting my general night time routine a half hour earlier then usual. not one of these things alone is typically enough, but doing them all together has definitely helped me get more sleep last week. my body was less tired, mind more focused and i was able stay productive. i think the only road block i've had thus far is my annoying cough i have that randomly wakes me up in the middle of the night (this is what happens when you work with sick people all day lol). hopefully though, once that clears up i will be benefiting more from the new habits i'm working on. 😄that begs the important question, what are you guys currently working on to improve? let me know below! 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 . in my bowl i have some left over quinoa that was cooked with some veggie broth, a mix of black beans and fire roasted corn, some greens and frozen broccoli that i roasted in the oven. over top had to have this chipotle tahini sauce, which i made using 1 tbsp tahini, 1/2 tsp chipotle powder, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp maple syrup/agave, pinch of salt, 1 tbsp water (add more if it's too thick). if opting for something more gastritis friendly, you can do a mix of 1 tbsp tahini, 1/2 tsp garlic, 1/4 tsp ginger, pinch of salt and maple syrup/agave and 1 tbsp of water. top over bowl and make sure you keep hydrated. i typically try to fill this 32 oz container a few times a day and keep it with me always or else i forget. 💧

Heyyo! can you get much of a better combo than potatoes and beans? i think not! 😜 tonight’s dinner is a good one featuring all my favorites. baked white sweet potato, kidney beans, steamed veggies, cherry tomatoes, avocado and spinach. oh and some everything hummus from @tribehummus 👌🏻 hope you’re all enjoying the weekend so far! it’s quite beautiful outside so it feels good to get some fresh air after working on homework all day 😌✌🏻

Roasted kabocha squash & chickpea curry with basmati rice 🍚 to make this i roasted one small kabocha squash in the oven (i de-seeded and chopped it, skin on) with a bit of olive oil, coriander, cumin, paprika and garam masala sprinkled on it. i baked it in the oven at 400f for 30 mins until it was soft. while that was baking i sautéed one large onion, 4 cloves of garlic, and a chunk of ginger with some olive oil. i also added 1 spicy serrano pepper but that's optional. then i added 1 tablespoon of a red curry paste. next i added 1 can of coconut milk and i also rinsed 1 can of chickpeas and added that. then i chopped 1 zucchini and added that as well, along with around 1/4 cup of cilantro. for spices i just added 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of coriander, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1 teaspoon of garam masala. and some black pepper. then when the kabocha squash was done i added that all to the p*t and also around 1-1.5 cups of water because it was too thick. then during the last 5 mins i chopped up 3 leaves of kale and added that. it seems like a lot in this caption but it was super easy, sooo filling, and makes lots of leftovers. i've made this curry 3 times within the past few weeks and it does not disappoint 😊

Whole or ground coriander seeds can also be used in marinades, pickled dishes, salad dressings and casseroles. it’s also really tasty in homemade spicy granola.

Nejlepší k ranní kávě. rychle a vynikající #lifelike #recipe #cookies #healthyfood #healthyfats #food #peanutbutter #almond #glutenfree #vegan #repost @marta_sek with @get_repost ・・・ sušenky s nejlepším máslem @lifelikefit ❤️, inspirováno @cukrfree.cz 🙂 těsto: 1 hrnek (130 g) mandlové mouky lifelike, 1/2 hrnku (130 g) mandlového másla s perníkovým kořením lifelike (nebo jiného), podle chuti něco na doslazení (já dala cca 3 lžíce medu), 1/2 lžíce kokosového oleje lifelike, špetka soli, lžička jedlé sody, lžička skořice, 1/2 lžičky vanilkového aroma. rukama vytvoříme těsto, které dáme na 15 min. odležet do lednice. potom rukama tvoříme kuličky, ty klademe na plech vyložený pečicím papírem a do každé kuličky uděláme koncem vařečky důlek. vznikne asi 18 sušenek. pečeme 10 min. na 175 stupňů. necháme úplně vychladnout. Čokoládová náplň: 50 g vysokoprocentní čokolády (já dala 70% lindt), 20 g kokosového oleje lifelike, 40 g mandlového másla s perníkovým kořením lifelike (nebo jiného). vše společně rozpustíme ve vodní lázni a vymícháme hladkou náplň. potom necháváme chládnout a kontrolujeme konzistenci. ještě mírně tekutou náplní plníme důlky v sušenkách po okraj. nakonec už téměř vychladlou krémovitou náplní vytvoříme na sušenkách čokoládový kopeček 🙂. sušenky necháme ztuhnout v lednici a papáme. 😍

Dzień dobry wszystkim, szczególnie odpoczywającym po wczorajszym nocnym maratonie z alko i dobrym żarciem. dla mnie to 8 dzień postu, podczas którego wyłączyłam się towarzysko.
