5-ingredient blueberry oatmeal cookies 🍪 💖👌🏻 made a batch of these yesterday and there is only one left today - might have to hide it somewhere so matt can’t get it 🤔 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 large bananas
2 tablespoon almond butter
1 scoop vanilla protein*
1 cup oats
1/2 cup blueberries
pre-heat the oven to 180ºc/350ºf and line a baking tray with baking paper.
peel the bananas, add them to a bowl, and mash them with a fork or potato masher. it doesn’t have to be completely smooth, but it shouldn’t be too lumpy either.
mix in the almond butter, then vanilla protein and oats until it’s fully combined and not clumpy. fold in the blueberries.
spoon roughly two tablespoons of batter into the lined baking sheet. that makes one cookie, so repeat until there is no more batter left. should be around 6 cookies total.
use the back of a spoon to shape them into nice little circles, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
remove from the oven, let cool, and enjoy! i like to drizzle some peanut butter on top just to be extra 💅🏻
*if you don’t have or want to use protein, sub for ground vanilla or extract plus 1 1/2 tablespoons extra oats and sweetener of choice (or omit and keep use the banana for sweetness)
What would a food stylist be without gorgeous ceramics? 🍽 beautiful dishes (preferably handmade ceramics) make any food stand out and look better, and is in my opinion essential to successful food styling. i don’t hold that many objects in our house *truly* dear 💓 but my ceramics collection is definitely one of the things i would try to save if our house was on fire! 🏠🔥 so this is a tribute to all of my favorite, extremely talented, ceramicists out there 🙏🏻💗 what you see pictured is only a fraction of all the ceramics i possess ☺️ and far from all of my favorite artists are pictured. most of them (who has an ig acc.) are tagged in the photo though! also, swipe to see the big picture (differently styled) of the entire cabinet. hope everyone has the most lovely weekend ahead! happy friday! ☀️😘 #wellandvibrant .

15-minute ramen stir fry because it's a weeknight and that means spending as little time in the kitchen as possible 🤷🏼♀️this is a creamy noodle bowl packed with veggie protein and a delicious umami flavour that i just can't get enough of! recipe below ↓
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 thumb sized piece of ginger, minced
1 punnet mushrooms (i used chestnut), quartered
1 bok choi, roughly chopped
1 bunch tenderstem broccoli, roughly chopped
1 tbsp soya sauce or tamari
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 block smoked tofu, chopped into bite size pieces
enough ramen noodles for 2
sauce -> 2 tbsp tahini, 2 tsp dark miso paste, juice of 1/2 lemon
heat up the oil in a wok and add the garlic and ginger. fry for about 1 minute, stirring often.
add in the mushrooms, broccoli, bok choi, tofu, soya, and lemon juice and stir to combine. keep cooking on high heat and stirring often until the broccoli is tender and the bok choi wilted, around 6-8 minutes.
while that cooks, cook your ramen noodles according to packet instructions. should take 2-3 minutes. drain and transfer to the pan with the veggies.
make the sauce by mixing together all the ingredients, adding some water to thin if needed. pour onto the veggies and noodles.
toss everything to combine and serve with some extra soya sauce, if wanted. other yummy extras would be sesame seeds, coriander (cilantro), and some chilli flakes.
Well hellooooo 17✌🏻 i don’t really talk much about my age on here just because i’ve always found it to sound so young (because internally i’m about 70 years old), but i have grown and learned so much over the past year.
i’ve grown to realize that you can’t take life so seriously. i have learned that you must imbrace your inner child, because life is a heck of a lot more fun this way. i’ve developed my relationships with others like no other. i value them, and now put effort into them. most importantly i’ve learned that happiness is a choice, even in the worst possible situation you can think of yourself being in. i have fallen in love with the person i’ve become.
i’m still a much growing person, but like anyone else i’m still working on things; figuring out what my next step is (for me that would be college, and i can’t wait to bring you all along that!), making this platform out to everything i aspire it to be, saying yes more often, and stop holding back so much. i’m so excited to grow more as a person, and work on these things, all while enjoying the life i’m living. grateful to be 17, have the life i have, and continuing self growth, wooo! lots of love to everyone of you!💛 #emsearthyeats
Sunday scenes✨hot matcha latte (who else sees the shaka 🤙🏼?!) fresh flowers, crystals, candles, etc etc. lately, i've been much better at managing my stress over the weekends. saturday and sunday are typically pretty busy days for me with teaching and working my valet job. i was finding myself feeling pretty overwhelmed with it all. there are a few things i've been doing to put my mind at ease over the weekend. 1. taking in less information and outside influences. for example, less scrolling through instagram, less podcasts, less netflix. my mind started feeling way too bombarded with information and thoughts. instead i enjoy quiet time, meditation, cooking and relaxing in my free time. 2. less caffeine. i kept reaching for a mid day pick me up thinking that i needed it to be more productive when really all it was doing was making me feel more anxious and foggy. 3. keeping my space clean and tidy. when the space around me is put together i instantly feel more relaxed. 4. acupuncture! 5. regularly adding ashwagandha to my morning drink. ashwagandha is a natural stress reliever. i hope to add more to this list as time goes on. my mental health is just as important to me as my physical health🙏🏼 what are some of your favorite ways to manage stress and anxiety? my go-to matcha recipe is 14 oz water, 2 oz almond milk, 1 tsp matcha powder, 1/2 tsp @sunpotion ashwagandha, 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen, 1 tbsp @bulletproof brain octane oil. i hope you all have a wonderful sunday!
Cosmic toasts! ⚡️✨⭐️⚡️
