🥦want to lose f*t but don't have the time to track your calories❓

📱anyone who knows me will know i always recommend tracking your intake if you’re entering a f*t loss phase, the only thing is it takes a conscious effort everyday which means it’s time consuming. if you’re a super busy person it may not be sustainable for you, so here's 5 tips that you can use to ensure you still lose that excess body fat!

1️⃣try and make up the majority of your meals with whole unprocessed foods, you’ll be able to eat more as they’re generally lower calorie wise. meaning you’ll stay fuller for longer and won’t feel like you’re dieting! keep that lean protein as a staple, it has a high thermic effect which means you’re going to burn more calories digesting it compared to carbs and fats. balance is key! aim for that 80/20 ratio, treat yourself in moderation, you deserve it if you’re doing the right thing most of the time 🥞

2️⃣🚶‍♂️move more! commit to some sort of exercise that you can document and progress with! doesn't even have to be intense it may be as simple as keeping an eye on those steps and adding in more walks to your life, energy expenditure is 👑

3️⃣keep calorie dense/trigger foods out of the house so you don't get tempted, replace them with fruit and veggies or low calorie treats/diet alternatives.

4️⃣be careful what you cook with! butter, oil and a lot of sauces can be high in f*t and remember f*t is 9 calories per gram compared to protein and carbs with 4, replace what you have in the house with sprays/lower calorie alternative spreads.

5️⃣track your bodyweight! but dont get too focused on the day to day fluctuations, this can be down to a number of reasons like food volume/water retention/toilet habits to name a few. keep it consistent and try to record it at the same time each day, preferably upon waking on an empty stomach after going to the toilet. document it and look at your weekly/monthly averages, what is the trend? going up? you may still be consuming too many calories and are in a surplus which is the reason you gained any f*t in the first place 😭. continued in comments for anyone interested 🙏🏼
