It’s that time of year where i start making myself ginger and mint tea -thought i’d share...

the phenolic compounds in ginger are known to help relieve gi irritation. helps boost your immune system for the colder months. i always start drinking this in the fall. i just get my own little mint plant from fresh thyme (grocery store) and i have the tea almost every single day (ginger also helps with inflammation, pain reduction, allergy relief, and flu, cold symptoms and nausea) but i just like the taste of it!!


2 cups of water
1 (thumb size) piece of ginger
1/4 of a lemon
4 mint leaves
1 tablespoon of honey
(sometimes i need a caffeine boost so i’ll add a green tea packet)😋


chop up ginger into tiny pieces
boil in water for 5-10 mins. pour into cup squeeze lemon and throw in mint leaves.
let steep for 2 to 3 minutes
